Paul Cassidy - Chairman and Managing Director
Aged 61. Toolmaker and designer, he worked for twelve months at a sports equipment manufacturer in West Germany before returning to the Company in 1971, taking up the management of sales, stock and transportation in 1973. He was appointed to the Board in October 1979, becoming Joint Managing Director in 1987. He is the oldest son of the founder Thomas Daniel Cassidy (deceased).
Peter Cassidy - Operations Director
Aged 27. Toolmaker, he has worked for the Company since 1997 and was appointed to the Board in 2006. Peter has had multi task experience in sales order processing, stock control, procurement, warehouse and transport management and product design and development. He travels extensively in pursuit of worldwide orders and the status of new product developments and their tooling progress.
Stanley Wilkinson - Non-Executive Financial Director
Aged 81, is the Non-Executive Financial Director responsible for the direction of the Company’s financial affairs. He is also the Company Secretary. He is a Chartered Accountant and his firm Stanley Wilkinson & Co is the Company Registrar. He is, or has been, a director of other companies both public and private in the commercial radio, private hospital, property development and shoe manufacturing fields. He has wide experience in accountancy and commerce.
Roger Howard - Sales Manager
Aged 47. Roger started with the Company aged 16 as an office clerk, and has had extensive experience in multiple office duties including wages/salaries, sales order processing, stock control, warehouse and transport management and procurement. He was made Sales Manager in July 2000. He travels to most of the Company’s worldwide toy exhibitions.
Philip Cassidy - Sales Office and Warehouse Manager
Aged 29, Sales Office and Warehouse Manager, started with the Company in 2005. On leaving college Philip was offered a place studying computer science at Edinburgh’s Heriot-Watt University, but after twelve months decided it was not for him, favouring the gregarious hotel and catering trade. As Assistant Manager of a local 100 bed hotel, and occasional Relief Manager of a Lytham St Annes pub owned by the hotel, he was head hunted by a public house group as Bar Manager of a busy pub/restaurant. Philip has excellent public relations and IT skills and travels to most of the Company’s toy exhibitions.
Harry Bradley - Chief Accountant
Aged 60. Harry has been a qualified accountant for 30 years and is an Associate of the Association of International Accountants. He has a wealth of experience and has worked in all sectors of commerce; manufacturing, retail, wholesale distribution and also financial services. He joined Cassidy Brothers plc in April 1999 as Chief Accountant. He is married and has a son. His interests are reading, music and travel.
